Poor young Matty has been suffering from colic. As a result he's been crying away in the afternoon for hours on end. Nobody knows 100% what actually causes colic so there's no sure fire cure. All the missus and me can do is carry him around and give him lots of cuddles.
After a random amount of hours I put him in his car seat and carry him around, which usually makes him to drop off for a few hours. Once he's awake he's fine again, but all the carrying around isn't helping my shoulder (no, I haven't been to the doctors yet!).
If any parents out there have any hints and tips I would be greatly appreciative.
Yours sleeplessly,
Me.

Adam had colic also - was a nightmare but you'll be relieved to know it only last for approx 3 months!
You can get stuff from the pharmacy for colic like Infacol, Colief or Dentinox (we tried them all). Also when he starts teething, get some Ashton & Parsons - works an absolute treat!
It's called late shifts!
Infacol worked wonders on all my shitbags. Otherwise, you can get bottles that have what appears to be a straw down the middle of them - my sis uses them on her girls, and touch wood, no problems yet.
Apparently i suffered with colic when i was a wee baby(1980) The doctors suggested gripe water and a dummy! Good Luck!
Those bottles I think they're called Dr Browns or something. They have a tube inside them that is supposed to help.
Best solution - transfer to an North Sea Oil Rig for the next 20 years!
