"The Fighter" Micky Ward, to his father after he'd just unsuccessfully attacked his brother Dicky.

Quality Film Quote #37

"They call me Mister Tibbs!"

Too classy to put here in words alone.

This film was right up my street. Really enjoyed it.

BIG YAWN!

Yeah, I enjoyed this one. Kind of a flip on the alien visiting earth type thing.

After 5 minutes, I turned to the missus and said "I bet DiCaprio is the real nutter."
I was right!

I remember seeing this film as a kid. It's still not funny.

A fantastic adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's novel.
Kodi Smit-McPhee is superb as 'The Boy' and I smell an Oscar nomination for Viggo Mortenson as 'The Man'.

Well worth a read and then a look in my opinion.

The missus found this film hilarious. I was pissed and can't remember what I thought of it.

An average film. The best bit of the film was Bill Murray's cameo.

Geneeration Kill is the best T.V war series EVER! Based on the book by Evan Wright, who went into Iraq with a U.S Marine Reconaissance Battalion. I could talk to you about it all day, but you should check it out yourself. Seriously, check it out.

I like Ricky Gervais. And I thought he was funny in this film. But, and you could sense that coming, I wish he wouldn't "Americanise" his comedy. I don't know a single English person who would call someone a "douche". And, if I did, I'd stop knowing them immediately!

I don't know how many times I've seen this film. I will never get tired of it.

Possibly Peter Sellers' finest film. It would never be made today. Fuck political correctness!

Away We Go is an absolute must for anyone who is dealing with pregnancy. I couldn't believe how much I laughed and could relate to some of the stuff in the film. In fact, even if you're not experiencing pegnancy, it's worth a look.

Ahh, Pandorum. The illegitimate love child of Event Horizon and Alien. It's not terrible to watch, but you can't help wishing you were watching Event Horizon or Alien instead.

Seal Team VI is SHIT! Seriously, you have to watch this film to realise how shit it is. And as for the cheesiest of cheesy endings..... fuck me it's bad. Please don't take my word for it, watch it and appreciate how truly shitty this film is!

Inglourious Basterds is a very entertaining film. Historically inaccurate. Infact, it's practically raped the history books. But, entertaining none the less. Sharp knives and loud guns galore. Christoph Waltz is just sublime as Col. Hans Landa.

Quality Film Quote #36

Tyler Durden: [pointing at an emergency instruction manual on a plane] You know why they put oxygen masks on planes?
Narrator: So you can breath.
Tyler Durden: Oxygen gets you high. In a catastrophic emergency, you're taking giant panicked breaths. Suddenly you become euphoric, docile. You accept your fate. It's all right here. Emergency water landing - 600 miles an hour. Blank faces, calm as Hindu cows.
Narrator: That's, um... That's an interesting theory.

Piss poor by Jack Black's standards.

Average.

Considering it's supposed to be a comedy, it's just not funny.

Funny as fuck!

Shit.

Piss poor by Will Ferrell's standards.

I'm not sure I understood the ending of this film. Why did he hijack a train and hold the passengers for ransom for $10 million, if he knew about his potential stock windfall of $300 million?! Answers on a postcard please.

Quality Film Quote #35

Parole Hearing Man: Ellis Boyd Redding, your files say you've served 40 years of a life sentence. Do you feel you've been rehabilitated?
Red: Rehabilitated? Well, now let me see. You know, I don't have any idea what that means.
Parole Hearing Man: Well, it means that you're ready to rejoin society...
Red: I know what "you" think it means, sonny. To me it's just a made up word. A politician's word, so young fellas like yourself can wear a suit and a tie, and have a job. What do you really want to know? Am I sorry for what I did?
Parole Hearing Man: Well, are you?
Red: There's not a day goes by I don't feel regret. Not because I'm in here, or because you think I should. I look back on the way I was then: a young, stupid kid who committed that terrible crime. I want to talk to him. I want to try and talk some sense to him, tell him the way things are. But I can't. That kid's long gone and this old man is all that's left. I got to live with that. Rehabilitated? It's just a bullshit word. So you go on and stamp your form, sonny, and stop wasting my time. Because to tell you the truth, I don't give a shit.
Morgan Freeman's "Red" in The Shawshank Redemption. Pure class.
Might try that kind of attitude at my next promotional interview!!

The Lighter Side Of Star Wars

We all have to go sometime.

You heard the man.

Some people take being a fan a bit too far.

At least they're not on strike today!

George Lucas' original ideas were not always good.

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this film. Not sure how it can be classed as a kids film though, it's very dark and disturbing towards the end. Parental discretion is advised!
Can't wait to watch it again, will view it with the missus this weekend.

A lot has been made of Michael Sheen's performance in this film. But, I can't help thinking that he was blown out of the water by Frank Langella's performance of Richard Nixon.

Let's be honest, Wolverine is probably your favourite X-Men character as he is mine. I do wonder why they started with the series' main man, but I wasn't disappointed. Liev Schreiber, as usual, plays one hell of bad guy.

Another gem from Clint Eastwood.

1947 Best Picture Oscar winner and it stars Gregory Peck. What more excuse do you need?
