O.K, O.K, I know I've been a very bad blogger of late. I didn't think I could be any more of a relaxed blogger!
But, in defence, I have got a very young baby to help take care of.
And spare time is very limited right now.
O.K, so the spare time I have had I've used to play Call Of Duty; Black Ops!
So, what's been happening?
Nothing!
Don't get me wrong, stuff has obviously happened and some of it would probably have been worthy of a post here. But, I didn't post it at the time and now I've either forgotten about it or it's no longer valid.
So bollocks!

It's Over
Christmas that is.
I finished work at around 2pm on Christmas eve. I popped over to my mates house to exchange presents. And drink beer, obviously.
I made sure I arrived home by 7pm so I could see Matt before he went to bed. Matt had been suffering from a nasty cold, but he seemed to be perking up at the right time.
At 5:30 on Christmas morning, the missus tried to be clever. She went and got Matt and put him bed with us, thinking we'd all wake up together later in the morning. A nice idea, but she didn't take into account that moving him would wake him up. And he stayed up! So, up got the missus and Matt, while I stayed in bed till 7:30. Nice!
We opened our presents together, my pile seems to be getting smaller every year.
Matt wasn't really interested. Once he'd opened his first present he sat there ans played with that. The missus and myself opened the rest, saying things like; "Wow! Look at this Matthew!" But he continued to ignore us and play with his new cars instead!
We got dressed and headed over to my mum's for breakfast. Bacon sandwiches all round! I don't mean that the sandwiches were round, I mean everyone had one.
We dropped mum at her friends house and came home.
The missus had said she was doing christmas dinner for once, so I put Matt down for his nap and chilled until my brother, his missus and my dad turned up. We were supposed to be joined by my mother and father-in-law. Unfortunately my father-in-law was unwell and they didn't make it.
The food and drink flowed into the evning and our guests departed around 7:30 pm. The rest of the night was spent chilling in front of the T.V.
On Boxing day, we headed to London to see the in-laws who'd not made it for dinner. Again, more drink and food flowed.
The missus was at work all day on Sunday so it was just me and Matt. I've never had such a good day with him! He was in top form the whole day. I didn't want to put him to bed!
We relaxed all day Monday. We dropped Matt at my mum's around 5:30pm and came home. The missus caught up with some work and ran around getting shot on Call of Duty 2.
I was back at work yesterday for the first of 5 late shifts. I've got a weeks annual leave (Again? I know!) from Sunday.
So, like I said; Christmas = OFFICIALLY OVER!

Infected
I've caught a cold off of Matt.
It's not swine flu, bird flu or the female invented "man flu", it's a cold.
I'm not surprised I've caught a cold, I've been feeling run down for months. Tiredness and fatigue have been a real issue.
As a result, I've decided to take some sick leave. Before today, I've not been off sick for around 14 months, not a bad record that.
I'm gonna do what I do best when I'm ill, play the PS3 and eat junk food!

Currently Playing
Everybody is banging on about this game.
To be honest, I don't see a huge difference to the last game, I run around not knowing what to do and get shot/blown up alot.

I did enjoy this game but, to be honest, I'm getting a bit fed up of First Person Shooters. O.K, the stories, layouts, graphics and weapons are different, but deep down it's the same thing over and over again.Saying that, I did laugh during the end credits when it came up "No gargantuans were harmed during the making of this game".
I distinctly remember blowing several to Kingdom Come!
Need any help bruv?!!

Making An Arse Of Myself With
Now look. I can't sing. Not one note. But get a few 1664's in me and I'll duet with anyone.
So far I've sang; Shakespeare's Sister's "Stay" with Gareth, Blur's "Parklife" with the missus, Spandau Ballet's "True" with Michelle, Leo Sayer's "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" with my brother and The Police's "Don't Stand So Close To Me" with Danny. But, my favourite was when my good mate Darryn and me looked lovingly into each others eyes and sang Sonny and Cher's "I've Got You Babe".
Actually, this entry should probably come under the "More Shit Music" entries.

Right, now back to Dead Space.
It's squeaky bum time methinks!
UPDATE: I thought I'd write a little review seeing as I was waiting for this game for ages.
It is, quite simply, astonishing!
Let's put aside the absolutely stunning graphics and concentrate on the gameplay.
This game has it all, first person shooter, acrobatics, strategy, athletics and beautiful graphic novel style cutscenes.
You can choose whether or not you want to take on the enemy and how violently.
You don't have to take the most obvious route to your goal either, there's plenty of options.
I could go on and on about how good this game is, but you should really buy it for yourself.
As for me, well, I'm gonna finish Dead Space and then play this again.

Air Force Test
A friend of mine sent me this link; http://members.iinet.net.au/~pontipak/redsquare.html
The object of the game is to move the red block around
without getting hit by the blue blocks or touching the black walls.
Apparently, U.S fighter pilots are expected to last for 2 minutes. The maximum I lasted (in around 20 attempts) was 40.454 seconds.
Give it a go and let me know your results. I want to know how good (or bad!) I was.

The gameplay is outstanding. But even I (a MGS fan) got fed up of the video cutscenes. On average, upon completing one chapter and starting another, there was around 30-45 minutes of video to be watched. Far too long in my opinion, but that's what the MGS series is famed for.I'm gonna play this again and skip all the cutscenes, no doubt I'll put something about it up here again.
